Classes

Don't stress classes. They really aren't as bad as everyone makes them out to be. Don't get me wrong you do have to work harder than was required in High School, but as long as you stay prioritized you will do fine. Just make sure you take notes in class, study, and do whatever homework is required (which isn't much). Many teachers will assign homework simply to help you. You won't have to turn it in, but it is to your benefit to do it. I suggest you do at least a little bit of the "not required" homework just to help you with quizzes/tests. Don't freak out about homework and classes though, they really aren't that bad.

Dorm

Meeting new people is not the only scary thing in college. The scariest thing to most people are the dorm rooms. It is a common misperception that the dorm rooms are very small and not fun to live in. However, dorms can be fun, if you make it fun. Don't go in with a pessimistic attitude. Be upbeat and have fun with it. Decorate the room to your likings, that will make it a much better place to live. Also, talk to your room mate early about keeping the room clean, that way your small space wont be even more cluttered with trash or clothes. Just realize that you can't bring everything from your room. You will have to leave some things behind. But living in a dorm is not that bad. It is fun, so don't worry.

Meeting People

Meeting people at college can be a scary thing for people. Some people are shy, quiet, or excessively outgoing. Shy and quiet people are scared to meet others because they are afraid to approach people. In college you shouldn't be afraid to approach new people. The easiest way to meet others is to start is to talk to people that live in the same dorm hall as you. The biggest interest of people in college is to meet new people, so dont be shy to walk up to someone and introduce yourself, because more than likely the person you takl to will be interested in meeting you and forming a friendship.
